The TV Test Card bottle is combination of the Philips PM5544 television test card from 1968 -69 and Test Card G which the BBC transmitted from 1971 to the late 1990s. It was the first electronically generated test card to be broadcast. The image was usually shown when no other programs were being broadcast and was accompanied by big band style music.
Slab build by hand with a small lid. The front width is 15cm. This piece is part of the series of work on Restorative Nostalgia.
