A SLIPWARE JAR, 54 CM TALL
EXECUTED 2021. EARTHENWARE
The form of coil built red Staffordshire earthenware illustrated with ice creams against White, Red, Blue, Mauve and Yellow spots on a black ground using slipware traditions of slip trailing, painting and then finished with a transparent gloss glaze in a 1120°C oxidation gas firing.
Signed and dated. Impressed ‘KS’ to the base.
