I am getting a new web site and I have to make some design decisions; how do I show my big studio pieces? I thought something like this with the whole pot and then some detail? I just can’t decide. Pot above is from 2006 – how my work has changed, I really liked this vase but it got smashed in the gallery when huge painting fell off the wall and crashed into it. All was not lost though because someone glued all the pieces to gather again and filled every crack with gold leaf, it looked even better and now the gallery keeps it in their lavatory!
Gold lustre is on the lid only tonight in the kiln, that way if it is a disaster then I have time to make another lid!
