This pot is from last year but I haven’t put it up before now. It sold very quickly and I didn’t get a better photograph of it than this one. It is about 50 cm tall, I actually built it in Sussex and put on the Concords there. I then brought it out to Spain in the car wrapped in swathes of plastic sheets where it sweated in my lap all the way through France and Spain. I finished it here after I had built the studio, it is on record as the longest I have ever taken to make a pot!
It was made in homage to my mother who was lucky enough to be on the penultimate flight to New York.
