Extreme Ceramic Practice

After a very tense day yesterday and the electric blowing out of the wall eight times with white flashes I realised I could realistically be called an extreme potter! I am sure it’s very dangerous and as a concession to health and safely I now employ the use of a blunt ended rolling pin to flick the switches back on when it goes BANG.
I finally reached 1107 C last night at about 9.00 pm, the temperature in the workshop was unbearable and all the pots I am currently working on had to come out swathed in plastic and wet towels to stop them drying out.
